Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Manotick Web Site. The Manotick Kiwanis has been serving our community since 1960 and is a growing vibrant group of community leaders and we welcome any person who is willing to serve in their community to build a better world for children. We serve the Children of the world. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Upcoming Events You Do Not Want To Miss . . .

Senior Bingo at Hyfield Place: 3rd Monday each month, (September to June). Volunteers needed contact Greg Newton. Next one is on Monday, May 21st, at 7:00 pm.

MMQCDC Open House: May 24th at 6:30 pm - Manotick Arena Councillor Scott Moffatt, Chair of the Manotick Mill Quarter Community Development Corporation (MMQCDC) has announced an Open House at 6:30 on May 24th at the Manotick Arena to obtain comments and reaction from the Manotick Community to several key elements and to display the work that has been undertaken by the MMQCDC over the last 18 months. 

SCHS Key Club will be holding a Car Wash on Saturday, May 26th from 9 am to 2 pm at the Manotick Arena     

Dickinson Days: Friday, June 1st is parade night and children’s show and fireworks. Sat., June 2nd is the Craft Market and nighttime entertainment from local talent at the tent on Dickinson St.  Please see above for the duty roster and sign up.  We will need as many members as possible to help out in all areas on those days.  Contact Ralph Tweedie at 613-822-1424  or at ralph.tweedie@3web.com

Kiwanis Club of Hull: Mussels and Fries Monday, June 4th at Chateau Cartier Hotel, Gatineau, QC,   Tickets are $55.

Senior Bingo at Carleton Lodge: 2nd Wednesday each month, (September to June). Volunteers needed contact Doug Demers. Next one is on Wednesday, June 13th, at 6:45 pm.

Hope Volleyball Tournament
*Volunteer Orientation Night:   6 to 9 pm on Tues June 19th at the R.A. Centre on Riverside Dr.
*Hope Volleyball Event on Saturday July 14th.  Need 15 volunteers to perform Parking and related duties. Shifts: 7.00 a.m. to 12 noon AND 12 noon to 5 p.m. Contact Greg Newton to volunteer at newtfoto@rogers.com .

Dickinson's Days Committee Meeting: Usually the last Monday of each month at 8 am in the Miller's Oven upstairs.

June 5th Meeting is a Kiwanis Partners Night and will be held at the Domaine Perrault Winery at 1000 Perrault Rd, Navan, Tel. 613-835-3925, commencing at 6 pm with dinner being served at 6:30 by our usual caterer, Lolachers.    Beef Brochette is planned for that meal, cost $18.  Optional Taste of 10 Wines at $10.  BRING YOUR CHAIRS.

Board of Directors Meetings: 2nd Monday of each month, 7:00 pm, (September to June), Hyfield Place (All members are welcome to attend a Board meeting.)
