Blanket & Warm Clothing Drive
Embedded Files
In recent years, our 5 Key Clubs in Manotick, Barrhaven and Riverside South have partnered with other community organizations to collect blankets and warm clothing for donation to homeless shelters in the Ottawa area. With the support of the Manotick Legion Branch 314, St. James Anglican Church and ROSSS, more than 1,800 items were collected in each of the last two years.
Our Kiwanis Club delivered these items, along with a $3,000 cash donation to each of the Ottawa Salvation Army, Shepherds of Good Hope and the Ottawa Mission.
This year's Blanket & Warm Clothing Drive will run from Nov 2 - 20th at the following 5 high schools Key Clubs: St. Mark HS, John McCrae SS, Longfield-Davidson Heights HS, St. Mother Teresa HS and St. FX SS as well as the Manotick Legion, St. James Anglican Church and ROSSS.
If you need help with any blanket or clothing donation, please contact us at info@manotick-kiwanis.org.
